Technical Manager
Job description
Technical Manager
Enjoy hybrid working with just two days a week in the office, giving you more control over your time and the chance to focus on high-impact technical work from home.
On top of that, you’ll travel to Italy twice a month, expanding your global experience and building strong relationships with international suppliers. This will give you hands-on exposure to premium food sourcing and production standards.
You’ll work in a vibrant team where your ideas will shape the technical direction, and you’ll have the chance to influence product safety, compliance and food authenticity across a wide range of high-quality products.
There’s also a performance-based bonus and 33 days holiday, rewarding you for the impact you make and giving you plenty of time to recharge.
What you’ll do
You'll support the Senior Technical Manager, taking ownership of key technical areas and developing your leadership skills. You’ll approve new products and verify specifications, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Leading and coordinating BRC and customer audit preparation will give you valuable experience in managing global food safety standards. You’ll also handle technical queries from customers and suppliers, keeping products compliant and resolving issues quickly.
Supplier audits, performance reviews and approvals will build your expertise in supply chain management, while managing technical projects and sample testing will keep you hands-on with product development.
Investigating customer complaints and working with enforcement bodies and legal consultants will sharpen your problem-solving and regulatory knowledge.
What you’ll need
Experience in food manufacturing, giving you a solid understanding of technical and safety standards
Proven ability to work with both suppliers and customers, managing relationships and resolving issues
