They’re seeking a Senior NPD Technologist to join a hands-on, stand-alone role where you’ll have real ownership, visibility, and the freedom to take ideas from concept through to factory trial and launch.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of customer-led innovation, working closely with commercial teams and suppliers, influencing product direction, and seeing your creations make it onto the shelf. Ideal for an experienced Development Technologist or someone ready to step up, this role offers trust, autonomy, and a chance to shape the future of their bakery category.

About you

• 3+ years’ experience in bakery
• Strong understanding of recipe balance, shelf life, and retailer requirements
• Confident running factory trials and working cross-functionally
• Creative, detail-driven, and commercially aware
• Hands-on, organised, and comfortable managing multiple projects
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
• Degree in Food Science
• Chef or strong practical food background highly valued
• Full UK driving licence

• £38-45k DOE
• Flex start/finish times
