NPD Technologist – Chilled Food Manufacturer
North West | Full Time | Site-Based
£26,000 – £30,000 + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative NPD Technologist to join a major UK branded and own-label food manufacturer at one of their North West sites. This is a newly created role within a small, collaborative team developing chilled food for some of the UK’s leading retailers.

You’ll play a hands-on role in developing products from concept through to launch, gaining broad experience across multiple retail accounts, including premium and mainstream grocery chains. The site is known for its traditional, less automated processes and strong customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting product development from kitchen concept to factory launch

• Managing multiple NPD projects in line with customer briefs and timelines

• Presenting development work directly to retail customers

• Working closely with cross-functional teams including Process, Technical, and Commercial

About You:

• A Food Science (or related) graduate (preferably with a placement but open to people with a passion)

• Energetic, confident, and personable – someone who can represent the team in front of customers

• A genuine interest in food and flavour

• Well-organised, practical, and eager to grow within a supportive NPD environment
