Technical Services Officer

Join one of the UK’s leading food producers as a Technical Services Specialist, working in a fast-paced and supportive environment where every day brings something different. This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the technical function — combining elements of investigation work, quality assurance support, microbiology, traceability, and involvement in NPD launches and site-wide projects.

What You’ll Do

• Support investigations into technical and quality issues, helping to drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Provide day-to-day QA and technical services support across production teams
• Contribute to microbiological testing, trend analysis, and site hygiene monitoring
• Maintain traceability systems and ensure compliance with customer and audit requirements
• Collaborate with NPD teams to support new product launches, trials, and technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and share ideas
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Specification Technology, or Technical Services (microbiology experience is a strong advantage)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high technical standards
