TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR

Location: West London
Full-time, permanent
Pay: Circa £27k

We’re looking for a Technical Administrator to join the technical team at one of the UK’s leading foodservice providers. This is a key support role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining product data integrity, supporting the product development process, and contributing to continuous improvement across quality and compliance systems.

The Role

You’ll work closely with Technical Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and technical data are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer and regulatory standards.

Duties & Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintain accurate product data across systems and support technical aspects of product development and launches

  • Create and update specification templates and ensure they meet required standards

  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and contribute to monitoring of key metrics

  • Support the management of nutritional information and sustainability data, identifying and resolving discrepancies

  • Assist in managing and resolving customer complaints with the technical team

  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Support the preparation of both routine and ad-hoc technical reports

  • Review product information and marketing materials for technical accuracy and compliance

  • Assist with the development of tools and systems to streamline data collection and reporting

The Person

  • A degree in Food Science or Food Technology is preferred, but equivalent qualifications or experience will be considered

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical administration or data-driven role, ideally within the food industry

  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, IF statements, conditional formatting, basic macros)

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting reports and working with stakeholders

  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a keen interest in continuous improvement
