Location: Luton, Hybrid (Mon–Wed in office)
Travel: Occasional UK & EU travel required
Salary: £40k to £45K + Benefits
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A leading global logistics and supply chain organisation is seeking a talented and proactive Internal Stock & Loss Prevention Analyst to join their expanding operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical professional with a passion for data accuracy, process optimisation, and stock integrity.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of stock reporting, loss analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. They will be expected to design their own tools, build advanced reports using Power BI and Excel, and deliver regular insights that drive business performance and reduce loss across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement stock reporting tools and dashboards to enhance inventory visibility and control.
- Lead stock leakage analysis and loss investigations, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct variance and yield analysis to support warehouse performance improvements.
- Maintain and improve perpetual inventory systems and stock movement tracking processes.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely inventory reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the development of preventative loss programs.
- Deliver insights and trends via clear and professional PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders.
- Attend UK and European warehouse sites to support investigations and share best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in stock analysis, inventory control, or supply chain analytics.
- Proven ability to build and maintain complex reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Skilled in creating and presenting clear, concise reports and insights in PowerPoint.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and systems such as WMS;
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of identifying inefficiencies and proposing, data-driven improvements.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and regions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe.
