Telesales & Account Executive – Ingredients Wholesale


Nr Cheshunt, Hertfordshire

£30–32K base + OTE up to £35K

Office-based, Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00

A fast-growing ingredients wholesaler is on the hunt for a dynamic Telesales & Account Executive to join their expanding team. Supplying premium ingredients to a wide range of food businesses, they’re looking for someone with the drive to grow sales, build relationships, and make an immediate impact.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales & Account Growth – Drive revenue by upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the customer base.
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong client connections through regular, value-driven contact.
  • Product Expertise – Recommend the right ingredients based on deep product knowledge and client needs.
  • Customer Support – Provide quick, professional service, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and issues resolved promptly.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1–2+ years of telesales, account management, or B2B sales experience (wholesale or food industry a plus)
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills
  • KPI-driven with a track record of hitting targets
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and highly organised
