Our client is a continuously growing and progressive food manufacturer, who are passionate about what they do and take pride in delivering excellent products with precision and care. They are looking for someone with experience in quality and food safety standards and automated hygiene systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cleaning standards, ensuring correct procedures, chemical use, and effectiveness verification.
- Ensure compliance of all CIP, COP, disinfection, and SIP systems with global quality and food safety standards.
- Lead internal and external audit readiness, including documentation preparation and audit participation.
- Deliver training and build capability across teams to promote strong food safety practices.
- Lead or support investigations into quality or sanitation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and improve cleaning and sanitation processes, including handling deviations, non-conformities, and CAPAs.
- Support hygienic design and validation activities for new equipment, upgrades, and projects.
- Oversee validation and ongoing verification of cleaning processes, including microbiological and chemical testing.
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in a quality assurance environment.
- A high understanding of PRP’s, HACCP, FSHCP.
- Degree or Equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Microbiological analyses (Desirable).
- Understanding of documentation systems.
