OPPORTUNITY:

 

A hands-on marketing role responsible for executing brand and shopper marketing plans to drive growth across the UK & Ireland. The position supports brand development, innovation launches, customer activation, and budget management within a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role is fundamental to supporting the execution of annual brand plans, influencing consumer marketing and trade marketing budgets and contributing to sustainable and profitable category growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Shopper Marketing (30% of role)

  • Deliver customer-specific marketing activity in partnership with sales teams
  • Collaborate with retail media partners and agencies to execute campaigns and creative assets

Budget Management (30%)

  • Track and manage the marketing budget (~£1.85m total)
  • Raise purchase orders, reconcile spend with finance, and manage supplier invoicing

Packaging & Brand Assets (15%)

  • Manage packaging design and artwork approvals
  • Coordinate with design, repro, and print suppliers
  • Ensure new products are live across retailer and brand platforms

Social Media (15%)

  • Oversee always-on social media activity
  • Manage agency relationships, approve content, and optimise performance
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen brand presence and engagement

Marketing & Sales Support (10%)

  • Support product launches and innovation projects
  • Coordinate sampling, events, branded merchandise, and administrative tasks
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Packaging, Technical, and Operations teams

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • 1+ year employment/internship/apprenticeship experience ideally in FMCG brand or shopper marketing
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Confident, solutions-focused & resilient
  • Strong communication skills including work with agencies and multiple stakeholders
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office/administration tech
