We’re recruiting for a National Account Manager on behalf of a leading Food manufacturing company in the UK; this is a strong growth opportunity with exposure to Top 4+ key accounts from day 1.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop & execute a strategic sales plan for GB market growth
  • Business Development: Identify & secure new national accounts across retail & foodservice
  • Account Maintenance: Manage & grow existing customer relationships to maximise revenue and margin
  • Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations with existing and new accounts.
  • Analysis: Collaborate cross-functionally, monitor market trends, competitor activity, & customer insights, whilst reporting on sales performance, forecasts, & KPIs to CCO & SLT

What they are looking for:

  • Proven experience in national account management or business development in food-related FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen & negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship-builder & communicator
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset & entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent planning, organisational & IT skills
  • Ideal: Experience with Top 4&6+ retailers or Foodservice providers with knowledge of chilled food categories
