We’re recruiting for a National Account Manager on behalf of a leading Food manufacturing company in the UK; this is a strong growth opportunity with exposure to Top 4+ key accounts from day 1.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Develop & execute a strategic sales plan for GB market growth
- Business Development: Identify & secure new national accounts across retail & foodservice
- Account Maintenance: Manage & grow existing customer relationships to maximise revenue and margin
- Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations with existing and new accounts.
- Analysis: Collaborate cross-functionally, monitor market trends, competitor activity, & customer insights, whilst reporting on sales performance, forecasts, & KPIs to CCO & SLT
What they are looking for:
- Proven experience in national account management or business development in food-related FMCG
- Strong commercial acumen & negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship-builder & communicator
- Self-starter with a growth mindset & entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent planning, organisational & IT skills
- Ideal: Experience with Top 4&6+ retailers or Foodservice providers with knowledge of chilled food categories
