Location: Somerset

Salary: up to £36,000

Reporting into: NPD Manager

Do you have a passion for food innovation and bringing bold new ideas to life? This business is looking for a creative, hands-on Product Development Technologist to help craft the future of their branded, own label, and food service offerings.

What you’ll do:

• Develop exciting new products from kitchen concept to full-scale factory launch
• Lead sample creation, factory trials, and packaging innovation
• Work with top-tier ingredients and suppliers to push flavour boundaries
• Ensure projects meet all timelines, food safety standards, and wow-factor expectations
• Own your projects — from trends research to first production run

What you’ll need:

• A degree in Food Science, Technology, or Nutrition
• 2+ years' Product Development experience in FMCG food manufacturing
• A creative mindset, hands-on approach, and passion for food!
• Bonus points for dairy experience or knowledge of export/retail product development
