NPD Manager

Overview
A well-established FMCG manufacturer is seeking an NPD Manager to support the development and implementation of new and existing products within a regulated production environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end NPD process, including concept development, feasibility assessment, and site implementation
• Coordinate and support factory trials, product validations, and first production runs
• Ensure all new products and processes meet internal quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate technical and NPD documentation throughout the development process
• Act as a key point of contact between technical, quality, operations, and commercial stakeholders
• Support risk assessments, specifications, and product approval processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to NPD, product launch, and process efficiency
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during development and post-launch phases

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in New Product Development Management within a manufacturing environment
• Practical understanding of product development, trials, scale-up, and launch processes
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance requirements relevant to manufactured products
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
