Salary: up to £42,000

Full UK driving license required

Reporting to: NPD Manager

We’re looking for a Development Technologist to join a fast-paced, cross-functional New Product Development team. You’ll be at the heart of turning creative concepts into successful commercial products—driving quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction from day one.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading development projects across applications from concept to launch
• Collaborating with Technical, Sales, Quality, Supply Chain & Production teams
• Following a structured stage gate process to deliver timely and accurate results
• Representing NPD at key meetings with suppliers and customers
• Supporting continuous improvement, costings, and quality assurance

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Food Science or related field
• 4+ years’ experience ideally in industrial bakery or FMCG
• Strong project management, communication & problem-solving skills
• Experience working with suppliers/customers and meeting tight deadlines
• A passion for innovation and getting things right first time
