Are you a technically skilled, solutions-driven bakery specialist ready for your next challenge? We're looking for an Application Specialist in Bread Development to play a key role in delivering innovative, high-performance bread products that exceed customer expectations.

Working within the New Product Development team, you’ll collaborate closely with technical, commercial, production, and quality departments to deliver new product launches and continuous improvements. You'll also act as a point of contact for global development teams and supplier partners, helping bring new ideas and technologies to life.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the delivery of bread-related NPD projects, from concept through to launch, following a structured stage-gate process.
• Develop solutions for customers by applying deep technical knowledge in enzymes, emulsifiers, and industrial bread formulations.
• Support local and international development teams within the group to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and drive innovation.
• Work closely with key ingredient suppliers, staying on top of the latest technologies and integrating new ideas into product development.
• Identify market gaps and support the creation of new bread improvers and related technologies to meet customer and business needs.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• A degree in Food Science or a related discipline
• Around 4+ years’ experience in the baking industry
• Proven expertise in developing industrial bread formulations
• Strong understanding of enzymes, emulsifiers, and fermented ingredients
• Competence in project management and cross-functional team collaboration
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
