Job Title: Technical Manager 

Overview:

You'll use your knowledge within the UK Manufacturing Industry to ensure best practices on site, Implementing rules and regulations to comply with legislation, UK Food Safety standards and customer requirements. You will have extensive experience with Major UK Retailers, and a proven track record of leading a successful team. A strong understanding of BRC standards is a must-have, as you will be leading the function in all external audits. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Leading the entire Technical function across 3 product categories to ensure compliance with legislation, third party standards and customer requirements.
• Manage a small team, monitoring KPI's and identifying training needs, providing the necessary support for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure cohesion of standards across the business.
• Participate in the overall strategic planning of the business, staying up to date with technical performance metrics and data.
• Manage customer and supplier relationships with the business, from supplier approval through to customer complaints.
