My client who is a leading UK food manufacturing business based in Lincolnshire is seeking a Senior Food Safety & Quality Manager to join their Technical team at a high-risk, fast-paced production site. This role is key to ensuring product safety, technical compliance, and driving continuous improvement across site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Food Safety & Quality Managers and QA Auditors.
Maintain HACCP systems, food safety standards, and technical documentation.
Ensure site readiness for customer and third-party audits (BRC, retailer standards).
Monitor and improve product quality, traceability, and environmental hygiene.
Support new technologies, systems, and site projects ensuring technical compliance.
Promote a culture of food safety, coaching and developing your team.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in a food or science-related discipline.
Strong experience in quality or technical management within the food industry.
Solid understanding of HACCP, BRCGS, food legislation, and auditing.
Leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
