Quality Manager
Job description
Overseeing the day-to-day quality and compliance maintaining company process and procedures. Liaise with all departments in the organisation to ensure that the management system is functioning properly. Promoting compliance, conformity, and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
· Be the main point of contact for everything quality and technical
Monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards
Liaise with managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly
Lead all audits including BRC
Ensuring the FSMS and QMS is established, implemented, maintained and updated
Reporting on the effectiveness and suitability of the FSMS and QMS as part of being a member of the management team.
A critical role in effective auditing and audit preparation of Production Processes
Assist in risk management processes
Approval of new suppliers and supplier management and raw material specifications. Including proactively management of supplier incidents alongside procurement.
Proficient management of the customers including proactive management of complaints system, customer liaison, and facilitating corrective actions to sustain customer satisfaction, customer audits and visits as required.
Support regular review and management of HACCP, TACCP & VACCP and Quality Manual
Education & Experience
Food Science or Food Manufacturing Industry experience
Knowledge and experience of Lead internal, supplier auditing and BRC
At least level 3 HACCP and Food Safety & Hygiene
