Project Manager

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (with a generous 10% pension contribution on top!)

Full UK driving license required, as there will be travel to suppliers and customers when needed

Reporting in to: Supply Chain Director

 

I am collaborating with a leading UK manufacturer who are looking for a sharp, driven Project Manager to join their Supply Chain team and lead the charge on exciting new product launches, product changes, and process improvements. This role sits at the heart of the action – bringing together teams across Commercial, NPD, Technical, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to deliver projects on time, on budget, and bang on brief.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and govern the Stage & Gate process – from concept to launch.

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of new product development and change initiatives.

  • Facilitate cross-functional teams, critical paths, and project updates with laser precision.

  • Own the detail: briefs, timelines, risks, documentation, and communication.

  • Be the glue that connects customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

What You Bring:

  • Proven project management experience, ideally in retail-focused food manufacturing.

  • A natural relationship builder with strong influencing skills and commercial awareness.

  • Organised, detail-obsessed, and always three steps ahead.

  • Able to juggle multiple workstreams and still keep your cool.

  • Tech-savvy and fluent in systems, docs, and presentations.

Essentials:

  • Strong PM skills – critical paths, risk management, collaboration

  • Food/retail NPD or change implementation experience

  • Stakeholder management – internal & external

  • Results-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
