We’re looking for a dynamic and drivenAccount Directorto lead a high-profile client relationship within the retail food sector(Experience in the Food retail sector is a must). This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a passion for delivering results.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an enthusiastic and solutions-focused professional with a natural ability to lead, prioritise, and make informed decisions. Clear communication is critical—you’ll be the key point of contact between internal teams, the client, and external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, experience in client management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Previous exposure to the food industry—particularly technical and regulatory processes—is a strong advantage, especially if you’ve worked with or supplied to major retailers.
Your Key Responsibilities
Own the commercial performance of a major retailer account
Lead all commercial negotiations, both for existing and new services
Oversee day-to-day service delivery to ensure all client needs are met
Conduct weekly status meetings with the client to address volume, category, or delivery issues
Develop and manage strong stakeholder relationships, including with the Graphic Service Provider (GSP) and technical system provider
Produce monthly governance reports and ensure targets are met
Act as a strategic partner to the client—earning a seat at the decision-making table and gaining the trust of senior leaders
What You'll Bring
Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and stakeholders, ideally within major retailers
Background in FMCG (preferably food retail)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong commercial acumen with experience in quoting and contract negotiations
Excellent communication, networking, and diplomacy skills
Previous leadership or team management experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
A positive, "can-do" attitude and a hunger to learn
Confidence in applying regulatory or process knowledge to real-world client needs
