As a QC Supervisor you will work along with QCs in warehouse to verify that all materials including finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements. You will complete audits and monitor the consistency of outputs across the team for compliance
purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the QCs in the Warehouse
• Audit Critical Control Points (CCPs) and compliant with relevant paperwork, report any non-conformance
to senior management and take proactive measures
• Check compliance to Food Safety and Quality Management System procedures (QMS) including control
measures for Allergens
• Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice audits (GMP) audits / Compliance Observation Process (COP)
checklist
• Monitoring temperature of chillers and freezers through daily manual checks using a calibrated probe.
Conduct various temperature checks on food products.
• Quarantine any non-conforming product or equipment that may affect the final product quality or safety
and report to Technical team and line manager immediately.
• Collect check sheets daily from LR (low risk) area.
• To become Fire warden and First Aider when required.
• Manage the traceability of raw materials to the production area
• Be flexible to assist with other jobs within Warehouse department as required
• Ensure all deliveries are checked on time and the quality of good
CANDIDATE
You will have previous experience in the Food Manufacturing sector coupled with experience of training/supervising staff. Exposure to BRC standards would be beneficial. Career progression prospects are good for the right candidate.
Mon-Fri 8am- 4:30pm
