Job Title: Traded Products Category Manager

As a key player in our Senior Leadership team, you will be at the forefront of driving cross-functional collaboration and supporting our long-range plans.
Your Impactful Role:
As the Traded Products Category Manager, you'll be at the helm of managing an active spend of over £50,000,000, overseeing approximately 50 active suppliers.
Your responsibilities include:
Identifying and securing the best supply base to achieve targets and objectives.
Driving competitive and value-driven purchasing of timber-based products.
Leading the purchasing of subcontracting requirements.
Managing and enhancing supplier relationships for long-term success.
Ensuring all purchasing aligns with Sustainability policies and targets.
Providing brilliant leadership within the category and across the organization.
Collaborating closely with the Sales, Operations, and Finance departments to support responsible profitability.
What You Bring:
Experience:
Significant senior purchasing experience within a similar product category.
Global sourcing and supply chain management expertise.
Proven negotiation and management of large, multifaceted supply contracts.
Background in sustainable procurement practices.
Previous experience in commodity purchasing.
