Brief Outline:
• Implement and maintain administrative systems to adhere to BRC
• Manage the specification database.
• Regularly review supplier information and update the approved supplier database.
• Plan and conduct internal audits
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, agents, and trade organisations
• Inspect incoming goods to ensure compliance with labelling requirements,
• Fulfil any other reasonable duties connected to the role as requested by the line manager.
Candidate Requirements:
• NVQ level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a scientific field or working towards it.
• Proficient in IT.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles.
• Experience with product specifications.
• Background in the food industry.
Desired Skills:
• HACCP certification.
• Experience in quality systems auditing.
• 3-5 years’ experience in food trading or food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UK and EU food industry legislation, particularly food labelling and miscellaneous food additives regulations.
