Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team in the Food industry. As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical operations within our production facility, ensuring seamless processes and delivering high-quality products to our customers.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical strategies, drive innovation, and maintain production efficiency. You will also be responsible for managing a team of technical staff, providing guidance and ensuring their professional development.
Salary
£40,000-45,000
Responsibilities
Oversee all technical operations within the production facility, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards
Develop and implement technical strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Manage a team of technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development
Conduct regular technical audits and inspections to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for technical support and resources
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in food production technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical management role in the food production industry
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards
Proven experience in implementing process improvements and driving efficiencies within a production facility
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
