Manufacturing Operator Wanted for a Major Raw Materials Company.

Our client, a leader in specialized production lines, is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Manufacturing Operator to contribute to the creation of high-quality finished goods. Overview:
As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be an integral part of our experienced team, involved in various aspects of manufacturing across specialized production lines. From operating high-tech machinery to maintaining safety and quality standards, you'll play a crucial role in turning raw materials into top-notch finished products.

Responsibilities:
• Embrace and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to site safety rules and SOPs.
• Conduct daily safety checks, risk assessments, and audits, recording and escalating findings as necessary.
• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout production, resolving any issues that arise.
• Control documentation and complete task checks in line with SOPs.
• Operate barcode and label application machines.
• Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move products to and from production lines.
• Manufacture products according to CAD drawings, meeting company and customer requirements.
• Strive to achieve and exceed the company's performance-related metrics.
• Minimize downtime through effective setting, problem-solving, and collaboration with the engineering team.

Skills/Attributes Required:
• Solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new concepts.
• Enthusiastic, can-do approach to work with a strong work ethic.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using technology.
• Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and understand data from safety, quality, availability, performance, and OEE metrics.
• Capability to read and follow a running plan.
• Keen understanding of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Flexibility to assist in different areas of operations when necessary.
