Quality Technologist, Cambridgeshire
Job Description
My client is a leading service provider to the Food Manufacturing industry looking to take on a Technologist who is bright and eager to develop as part of the site-based technical services team.
The role is within commuting distance of Huntingdon and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to broaden their horizons within the food industry. This position is site-based and will report to the Technical Manager.
The Role:
• Customer and Supplier Interaction – Management of Customer Complaints and Investigations into Supplier Non-Conformances
• Technical Service Visits – Trips to see Suppliers/Customers on-site in order to look into quality issues
• Contributing to BRC Audits
• Lab Work – preparing samples and maintenance of the laboratory environment
The Candidate:
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in Quality/Technical within the FMCG industry
• Willingness to learn and flexibility to fully develop within the working environmment
• Comfortable liaising with customers face-to-face
• Experience working with BRC
What’s on offer:
• £30,000-£35,000
• Site-based
• 9am-5:15pm (can be flexible)
