Client
I am working with an exceptional client of mine who are established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the quality team with an additional hire, this is not a replacement. This role would be perfect if you want long term progression/success in a business.
Package
Salary: €60,000 – €65,000
Package: Healthcare + 10% matched pension + 33 days holiday
Location: County Cork
Role
•Lead, manage, motivate and develop the Quality Assurance (QA) team, coaching encouraging people to achieve results which meet individual, departmental and business targets and objectives, and support the company values.
•review and action variances to all microbiological, analytical, quality assessment and customer complaint KPIs
•Liaise & communicate with Operational Managers on company quality training standards to support Site
•Liaise cross functionally to resolve operational technical problems and drive improvements in factory standards
•Ensure that spending is in-line with the technical budget and any additional targets, as agreed with the technical manager
Requirements/Experience
•Food or Science Degree desirable (or equivalent)
•Able to demonstrate previous experience in food manufacturing
•HACCP Level 3 would be an advantage
•Food Hygiene – intermediate.
•Internal auditor qualification and/ or audit experience
