A renowned and reputable food manufacturing company are seeking a multi skilled engineer/mechanical maintenance engineer to join their team. Salary: £45K

Shift: Monday to Friday

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm

Friday: 8.30am – 3.00pm

Location: Inverclyde (Greenock)

Regular Holidays: 1 week in April, 2 weeks in Summer, 9 days for Christmas, September Weekend, May Day, Easter Monday. (approx. 1.5 months)

An ideal candidate should have/be:

•Qualified to HNC/HND level or equivalent within a relevant Mechanical discipline or possessing equivalent experience to be able to diagnose faults, repair and fine tune mechanical equipment.

•Experience of working within a high-pressure manufacturing environment.

•Qualified to 17th Edition IET Electrical Regulations.

•Relevant experience with steam boilers, compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, weighing equipment.

•Machine shop expertise.

•Demonstrable experience of driving equipment process improvements within a manufacturing environment.

•Hands-on engineer with a “can-do” attitude and a desire to understand and improve the manufacturing process.
