Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Berwick Upon-Tweed
Salary: £42,500 – £45,800
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

Job Overview:
They are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Berwick Upon-Tweed. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their production facilities by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement improvements in the maintenance process.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Overtime triggers: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern – anything over 48 hours in the block of 8 days, with the first working day being the first day of the working pattern
