Head of Technical

Job Description

My client are a leading food manufacturer looking to take on a Head of Technical who can bring a great amount of experience to the site-based technical services team.
The role is based in Southern Essex, within commuting distance of London, and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to work in a senior position within the food industry. This position is site-based and will report to the Managing Director.

The Role:

• Ensuring consistent improvement within all aspects of Technical Operations
• In charge of the 7-person strong Technical Division
• Working in close proximity to Sales/Customer Team
• Daily maintenance of Technical Tasks such as assurance of product compliance with legislations and adherence to specifications

The Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience work in Food
• Owner of a Science-Based Degree
• Proven experience of people managent
• Food Legislation/Industry Standards experience (BRC, Kosher, Halal) essential
