Salary: £35,000 per annum

As a Supplier Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver safe and exceptional food products to our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with our suppliers to maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with our suppliers, conducting regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control procedures for raw materials and finished products, conducting inspections, testing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Product Innovation: Collaborate with suppliers on product development and improvements, contributing to the creation of innovative food products.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with food industry regulations and certifications, ensuring that our suppliers meet all necessary standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, quality reports, and performance data.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any quality or supply chain issues that may arise, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
OR previous experience in a smimilar role.
Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
