We are looking for individuals with planning, demand planning, supply chain analysis or supply chain coordination experience.
Position: Customer Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Boston
Package:
• Salary – £43,000
• Bonus – 5%
Key Responsibilities:
• Build Strategic Relationships:
• Collaborate with Sales & Commercial teams to establish strong connections with key accounts, ensuring the delivery of optimal service at the most cost-effective rates.
• Supply Chain Coordination:
• Engage internally and externally to create value through efficient supply chain coordination.
• Report and provide insights on demand trends, variance analysis, and opportunities within the supply chain.
• Achieve the most optimum demand & supply balance for customer channels.
• Operational Excellence:
• Respond to supply chain challenges, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Identify, propose, and build on operational initiatives (cost to serve, continuous improvement) for the customer group.
What You'll Do:
• Lead the demand planning process, ensuring the best possible service at optimal cost.
• Maximize availability for customers by coordinating inbound supply flows and production capacity plans.
• Utilize data cleansing, statistical forecasting, and integrate cross-functional and customer insights.
• Coordinate demand and inventory-related initiatives.
• Conduct monthly S&OP channel reviews with stakeholders, maintaining demand plans and reporting on variances.
• Balance short-term horizon tasks with long-term improvement activities.
• Own analysis and reporting for your area, presenting insights at planned and ad hoc review sessions.
Person Profile – Ideal Candidate:
• Developed career with a range of supply chain, operations, and/or category management experience.
• Numerate and adept at solving business problems with a proven ability to analyse data and influence outcomes.
• Experience with forecast data modelling and tools strongly preferred, along with product portfolio management.
• Familiarity with S&OP best practices and driving relevant metrics.
• Preferred experience with SAP ERP and related supply chain software (09, Blue Yonder/JDA, etc).
• Degree in supply chain or related field; 6-sigma qualification is ideal.
