• Conduct regular and methodical performance reviews with our esteemed suppliers, leveraging comprehensive business intelligence data to drive continuous improvement and optimize supplier relationships.
• Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills in mitigating proposed supplier price increases, safeguarding our budgetary integrity while upholding uncompromising standards of quality.
• Ensure meticulous upkeep of our company systems, including AX Dynamics/365, meticulously updating critical data such as supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and raw material stock levels.
• Employ astute forecasting techniques to anticipate price trends and their consequential impacts on our future procurement activities, facilitating proactive decision-making and strategic planning.
• Undertake comprehensive research endeavours to identify optimal products and suppliers, meticulously evaluating factors such as value propositions, delivery timelines, and quality assurance protocols.
• Provide invaluable support to our Purchasing Assistant and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adherence to established protocols.
• Execute procurement operations with unparalleled agility and precision, adeptly navigating supply chain challenges to maintain uninterrupted production flows and uphold operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:
• Possess a CIPS Diploma or an equivalent degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing/Procurement, underscoring a commitment to professional development and industry proficiency.
• Showcase a proven track record of success in procurement roles within a manufacturing environment, exhibiting a nuanced understanding of raw material procurement dynamics and operational intricacies.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, adeptly interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to foster robust supplier relationships and facilitate seamless collaboration.
