Job Description

The purpose of your role
This is the person on site who drives our site standards, manages Food Safety standards and encourages quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

This is achieved through the Quality Culture and right first-time approach you instill and inspire in the site team to be audit ready every day.

You’re responsible for.

– Maintenance of the site quality standards and ensuring site complies with external certification standards and is always audit ready.
– Auditing of day-to-day processes and operation records
– Supporting / Leading Root Cause Analysis investigations when required
– Supporting the Operations team in maintaining high GMP standards
Key responsibilities:
– Maintain quality systems to audit ready standards.
– Manage site KPIs with the Operations team.
– Conduct collaborative internal audit program.
– Investigating, responding to and trending customer complaints.
– Collating and trending micro data.
– Managing the sample and swab plan for the site.
– Preparation of C of A’s for customers
– Managing site FEMAS controls.
– Verification of site traceability.
– Verification of analytical equipment
– Supporting on trials of new innovative projects

Qualifications & experience
Essential:
– Food Safety qualification
– Passionate about quality.
– Great soft skills and able to influence change.
– Able to build relationships to drive continuous improvement.
– Strong attention to detail
– Experience of working in a food factory.
– Good level of verbal and written English
– Strong problem-solving skills.
– PC literate
Nice to have.
– Food or Science based Degree.
– Experience of spec writing
– Haccp qualification-
