Job Title: Assistant Engineering Manager

Location: Stirling

Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

I am recruiting for a dynamic and growing manufacturing business based in Stirling, and they are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as an Assistant Engineering Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with engineering team leader or supervisor experience within the production/manufacturing sector to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and support to an engineering team of 7
Daily Workload: Managing daily workload of the team
Health and Safety: Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Compliance: Ensure compliance across site services by making sure testing is completed and logged correctly
Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development within the engineering team.
Project Management: Take involvement with assisting the management of projects
Budget Management: Assist in managing the engineering budget effectively, optimising resources and controlling costs.
Requirements:

Experience: Experience as an Engineering team leader or supervisor or assistant engineering manager (Engineering experience with separate management experience can be considered)
Education: NVQ Level 3 equivalent or above is very desirable
Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and production machinery.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Location: Must be willing to travel to Stirling daily.
