BASED UDDINGSTON

WORKING 4 ON 4 OFF 5am-5pm

Reports to: Admin Manager

Direct reports: None

The Role
The Administrator is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the quality systems and procedures we have, are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
The Office:
? Taking orders.
? Creating and printing labels for chilled coding.
? Creating internet labels for chilled coding dispatch.
? Completing additional paperwork as and when required.
? Closing chilled coding production orders.
? Working with the Unity System.
? Monitoring the chilled final pack stock.
? Assisting chilled coding manager as and when required.
? Monitoring emails from the commercial and buying departments and updating the chilled coding manager as and when required.

All areas:
? Working to Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards, and challenge colleagues who are not working to these standards.
? Using correct manual handling techniques at all times.
? Wearing the correct PPE at all times.
? Adhering to the Personal Hygiene Policy at all times.
? Being diligent, punctual and behave in a responsible manner.
? Assisting with day to day general operative tasks throughout the factory as and when required.
? Assisting factory chargehands, supervisors and managers as and when required.
? Keeping work areas (whole factory site) clean and tidy.

Skills/Personal Attributes
? Ability to be flexible to meet business needs.
? A team player.
? Self-motivated and a strong commitment to personal development.
? Professional approach and attitude.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
? Experience of Microsoft word and excel, and proficient computer skills would be advantageous.

Hours of Work
? Eight-day shift pattern, working four consecutive shifts of 12 hours per day, followed by four consecutive days off. In any such 8-day period, you will work 48 hours. Hours of work are normally from 05.00-17.00. However, your working times may vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business.
