Quality Assistant

Job Title: Quality Assistant 

Overview:

If you are a recent graduate of a Food related degree, with a minimum of 6 - 12 months experience or placement and looking for your first step into employment within the UK Food Industry, then this role is for you. 

As a Quality Assistant you will be responsible for all documentation handling and quality management system maintenance, to ensure all food products are kept safe and compliant to customer and third party standards.

You will be a motivated and self-driven person with the right attitude to learn, as well as the eagerness be part of a progressive and welcoming business with decades of success.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee various procedures including complaints, non-conformance and Internal Audit program.
• Prepare technical documentation ahead of management meetings and performance talks.
• Support the organisation of the specification system, supplier approval and risk assessment process.
• Finished product quality checks including label verifications and allergen management.
• Assist multiple functions across the business to ensure smooth and coherent operations.
