Hygiene Supervisor

Job description

About the Role: I'm looking for a dedicated and experienced Hygiene Supervisor to lead a hygiene department and ensure the highest standards of environmental and equipment cleanliness. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all internal standards and external stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the hygiene team and provide training and competency reviews.

  • Manage hygiene, waste, and pest systems for compliance and relevance.

  • Verify and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning records.

  • Support 3rd party and customer audits by presenting data and inspecting equipment.

  • Investigate and implement corrective actions for hygiene non-conformances.

  • Ensure consistent availability of PPE across the site.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior Food Manufacturing experience and People Management skills.

  • Core Competencies: Leadership, Communication, Organisation, Decision making, and Computer literacy.

Key Certifications (Preferable):

  • Level 3 Food Safety and HACCP.

  • IOSH Health and Safety.

  • Allergen Awareness, Contractor Management, and Pest Control Management.
