£50,000 - £55,000

 

You’ll be crucial in steering where we're headed and ensuring we stand out and keep growing.

 

You'll manage hygiene standards across the site, leading a night shift team and taking full ownership of cleanliness strategies that impact food safety and quality.

You’ll get 31 days' holiday rising to 32 after 10 years, a 5% pension contribution and life assurance worth 8 times your salary.

What you'll do

You'll develop and implement cleaning plans aligned with engineering PPM schedules, ensuring high standards of cleanliness across production and intake areas. You'll manage hygiene audits, investigate micro swab results and take corrective actions to maintain food safety standards.

By promoting quality assurance, environmental, and health and safety education, you’ll help develop cultural awareness across the site. You’ll also manage hygiene spending on chemicals and equipment, ensuring cost-effective operations.

By planning, organising, and motivating your team, you’ll maximise cleaning standards and ensure equipment and staff are used efficiently. You’ll also handle incidents, safety concerns, and disciplinary actions, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

 

What you'll need

  • IOSH Managing Safely Training or equivalent

  • Qualification in Auditing and/or experience of internal auditing

  • Working history in a similar managerial position within a food manufacturing environment
