HR Business Partner – 12-Month FTC
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £50,000 + benefits
We’re proud to be partnering with a UK leading food manufacturer to recruit an experienced and people-focused HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional with a passion for employee engagement and operational excellence. Working closely with managers and site leadership teams, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting colleagues across manufacturing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert HR advice across all people matters.
- Lead on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, and absence management.
- Coach and train managers to build capability in people leadership, performance management, and communication.
- Support engagement and wellbeing initiatives, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage contract changes, HR documentation, and policy compliance.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver site-wide projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role within manufacturing, FMCG, or a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident handling complex ER casework with professionalism and empathy.
- A natural communicator who thrives on building relationships at every level.
- Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about developing people and supporting business success.
