Development Chemist

Are you a creative and detail-oriented formulation chemist with a passion for product innovation in cosmetics, household, or pet care?

We’re looking for a hands-on Development Chemist to join a fast-moving, customer-focused manufacturing business based in Leyland, Preston. You’ll bring at least 3 years' experience developing formulations and taking products from concept through to scale-up – ideally with experience in hot and cold process cosmetics.

Key Requirements:

· Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
· 3+ years’ experience formulating cosmetic, personal care, or household products.
· Comfortable working through NPD from brief to production.
· Experience with CPSR, PIFs, UK/EU regulatory requirements.
· Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally with commercial, technical and manufacturing teams.
