ABOUT THE COMPANY & ROLE:

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s most exciting and fast-growing FMCG businesses. Having already built a successful and expanding online presence in the UK and internationally, the business is now entering its next phase of growth.

That next chapter is B2B expansion with a clear ambition to secure listings across UK Multiple Retailers, Wholesalers, and Foodservice operators; this role will sitting at the heart of that journey as a boots-on-the-ground leader.

As the first dedicated new business sales hire, you’ll have the chance to shape the commercial strategy from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for opening doors, building relationships, and driving brand visibility and sales across multiple categories. You’ll work closely with an ambitious and collaborative team, with genuine autonomy to own the channel and the opportunity to see the impact of your work quickly.

You’ll be supported by a strong customer and consumer proposition, with sustainability, value, and quality at its core.

As the first B2B sales hire, you’ll have significant scope to make your mark. You’ll be ambitious, energetic, and motivated by growth, responsibility, and the chance to build something meaningful.

An established network across retail, wholesale, and/or foodservice channels would be highly advantageous, but above all, you bring drive, curiosity, and a passion for winning new customers.

  • A proven new business “hunter” with a passion for winning and growing accounts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, target, and win new B2B customers across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels (required: experience with Top 4/6 grocery retailers)
  • Open and develop relationships with key decision-makers and buyers
  • Lead the end-to-end new business process, from prospecting through to negotiation and onboarding
  • Secure listings and distribution across multiple categories
  • Build and deliver a clear new business pipeline aligned to growth targets
  • Represent the brand professionally and compellingly in all customer interactions
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful launches and ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Provide market insight and customer feedback to help shape the commercial and product strategy
  • Own the P&L and help establish strategic, scalable sales processes as the business grows
