Technical Manager

Are you a technically skilled food and drink professional with a proven track record in product quality, supplier management, and delivering against safety and compliance standards?

We’re looking for an experienced Beverage Technologist to join a fast-growing and innovative food and drink manufacturer. You’ll bring strong experience within the food and drink manufacturing sector, with knowledge of thermal processing and aseptic manufacturing, alongside excellent auditing skills and the ability to manage supplier performance and product quality.

A solid background in food technology, NPD support, and ensuring compliance with EU and UK food legislation is essential. You’ll be confident in working closely with suppliers, managing non-conformances, and supporting new product launches while protecting brand integrity and product consistency.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working within food and drink manufacturing sectors.

• Ideally, a food science-related degree or 2–3 years’ experience within the field.

• Knowledge of thermal processing and aseptic manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of food legislation in the EU and UK.

• Proven auditing skills and experience in risk assessments.

• Excellent negotiating, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

• Experience supporting NPD projects and ensuring safety and quality standards at all stages.

• Happy to travel locally and internationally to visit manufacturing sites when required.
