Technical Manager

Are you a technically skilled food industry professional with a proven track record in supplier auditing, quality management, and ensuring compliance to the highest standards?

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join a leading and well-established food business. You’ll bring strong experience in auditing suppliers, managing complaints and non-conformities, and working closely with suppliers to ensure all products meet Legal, Safety, Sustainability, Ethical, and Quality requirements. You must be willing to travel when required

A solid background in food manufacturing, foodservice, or retail technical roles, combined with excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical management role within food manufacturing, foodservice, or retail.

• Strong knowledge of supplier auditing, site approval, and due diligence processes.

• Experience managing and resolving customer complaints and non-conformities.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and externally with suppliers.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across the UK to supplier sites.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Food Science or Technology qualification preferred, with strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
