Technical Compliance Officer

My client who is a leading food manufacturer based in Gloucestershire are looking for a Technical Compliance Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to take the next steps in the career within the food and nutrition industry.

The role (including but not limited to)

• Perform QC testing (water, environmental, calibration)

• Manage Certificates of Analysis for raw materials.

• Ensure food safety, legality, and compliance with customer expectations.

• Address technical issues in the factory, serving as a technical contact.

• Handle customer queries and manage pest control.

• Coordinate lab sample despatch, support internal audits, and manage non-conformances.

• Oversee raw material supplier management.

• Support specification compliance and data management.

The candidate

• Degree in food science or related field.

• Experience in HACCP, internal audits, BRC, QC testing, and procedure writing.

• Strong time management, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.

• Right to work in the UK and a clean driving license.
