Stock Controller/ Stock and Replenishment Manager

BASED NEAR FLECKNEY, LEICESTERSHIRE
ROLE
Main Purpose:
- Managing all raw material and packaging stocks.
- Optimise raw material inventory levels
- Ensure all raw materials and packaging meet the required food safety standard.
- Support NPD in sourcing new raw materials.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships.
- Control company spend on raw materials within set targets.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and improve the raw material forecast.
- Optimise raw material inventory levels (ensure availability for production, without overstocking).
- Check stock levels regularly and address inventory discrepancies.
- Place orders to replenish stocks.
- Compare items received and invoices against items ordered and pricing.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships, evaluate supplier pricing and negotiations.
- Work with the Production team to ensure materials are available to deliver the production plan.
- Work with the Technical team to ensure all raw materials and packaging are purchased from approved suppliers in accordance with relevant food safety legislation.
- Liaise with the NPD team in relation to introducing new raw materials and products.
- Maintain records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.
- Monthly reporting of performance versus KPIs.
- Continuous improvement projects.

- Stock holding
- Obsolete stock levels
- Supplier compliance
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
CANDIDATE
- Proven experience working as a stock controller, inventory manager or similar role.
- Ability to improve systems
- Pro-active approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Working Mon-Fri 5 Days a week on site
8am- 5pm although option to work 7am- 4pm if preferable
20 days Holidays + 8 stats
Pension 3% Employer, 5% Employee
