They are looking for an Inventory Controller who is passionate about driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities
- Own the inventory management process, maintaining accurate stock records across all sites, including internal facilities and external 3PL providers.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring corrective action is taken.
- Analyse stock adjustments and write-offs using tools such as Power BI, identifying root causes and eliminating risks.
- Partner with supply chain, finance, production, and warehouse teams to optimise stock flows and resolve queries.
- Support stock handling and compliance across co-packers and 3PL providers, ensuring inventory accuracy and alignment with delivery notes and orders.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending solutions to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement, implementing new systems and processes to enhance inventory accuracy and business performance.
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control roles (food manufacturing experience desirable).
- Strong analytical skills, with confidence using Excel, ERP/WMS systems (M3 desirable), and data tools like Power BI.
- Proven ability to reduce waste and create cost savings through your work
- A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across functions and influence positive change.
- Experience of implementing new processes and systems within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Proactive, organised, and ambitious – eager to shape a new role and grow with it.
