This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading FMCG business as Site Excellence Lead near Liverpool, reporting directly to the Factory General Manager. The role has full accountability for developing and delivering the site’s Excellence strategy, aligned to a global framework, and driving culture change, operational improvement, and long-term productivity gains.

You’ll be at the forefront of transformation—coaching, supporting, and facilitating excellence through Team Managers and Operators, while also leading strategic projects that deliver lasting impact. There will also be opportunities to support and benchmark across multiple UK sites, broadening your influence and visibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and delivery of the site Excellence strategy.

  • Driving a zero-loss culture and continuous improvement in safety, quality, service, and cost.

  • Coaching and mentoring teams to embed lean and excellence methodologies.

  • Owning and delivering the site’s productivity programme, including long-term cost reduction.

  • Leading Capex projects to improve plant efficiency and sharing best practice across sites.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong manufacturing experience within FMCG, with expertise in lean/Excellence methodologies.

  • A proven track record of leading multiple improvement projects and loss-reduction initiatives.

  • Experience of working in unionised and cross-functional environments.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.

  • Black Belt qualification (or working towards) with strong continuous improvement credentials.

Package: Up to £58,000 + 10% bonus + £5,800 car allowance + extensive benefits.
