📍 Location: Bristol
🕘 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (some flexibility required)

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive New Product Development Technologist to support the creation and launch of innovative food products. This hands-on role is based at our Innovation Centre near Bristol and involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new food products from concept to rollout
• Ensure product and ingredient data is accurate and up to date
• Collaborate with manufacturers and attend factory trials across the UK and Ireland
• Support sustainability goals by minimising food miles and reducing waste
• Create and proof packaging labels in line with current legislation
• Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity
• Maintain a high standard of communication across departments and with partners

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong Excel and general IT skills
• Excellent organisation and multitasking ability
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal
• Quick learner with a collaborative, hands-on approach
• Full UK driving licence (essential for travel)

Experience & Qualifications:

• BSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or similar
• 3+ years in NPD or process development within FMCG
• Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites
• Familiarity with specification systems and UK labelling legislation
• A genuine interest in food and current industry trends
