We’re looking for a talented Front-End Developer (Power BI) to design and deliver powerful, user-friendly dashboards and reports that drive smarter decision-making across our business.

The Role

As a Power BI Front-End Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how data is visualised and consumed across commercial, finance, operations, and supply chain teams.
You’ll translate complex datasets into visually compelling dashboards, ensuring every report is clear, actionable, and impactful.

 

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Visualisation

  • Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports.
  • Transform complex business requirements into intuitive, insight-rich visuals.
  • Optimise report performance and ensure seamless user experiences.

Data Integration & Modelling

  • Connect Power BI to various data sources (Azure Data Lake, SQL, APIs, Excel).
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build robust, governed semantic models.
  • Apply row-level security and maintain high standards of data integrity.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs.
  • Present data and insights to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
  • Support and train users to enhance self-service BI capability.

Visual & UX Standards

  • Help define and maintain Power BI design and visualisation standards.
  • Apply UX and accessibility best practices to improve usability and adoption.
  • Maintain clear documentation and version control across all deliverables.

 

Your Skills & Experience

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI.
  • Strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills.
  • Proven experience building and managing semantic models (star/snowflake schema).
  • Ability to connect to both cloud and on-prem data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with non-technical users.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Azure tools (Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, ADLS).
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail sectors.
  • Knowledge of Power BI Service, including Workspaces and Deployment Pipelines.
 

Education & Certifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Power BI certification (e.g. PL-300) preferred.
