Title: Warehouse Manager

Salary: £45,000 plus bonus (DOE)

Hours: 38 hours per week

Join a world-leading construction company as a Warehouse Manager at our Warehouse Distribution Centre. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, from order receipt through to goods dispatch. You’ll lead and supervise a dynamic team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance across all functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.

• Supervise and support warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure written control procedures are in place for all warehouse activities.

• Oversee inventory accuracy using a bar-code inventory control system.

• Liaise with internal departments to coordinate distribution needs and resolve operational issues.

• Maintain a safe, organised and productive warehouse environment.

• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for improvement.

About You:

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or factory supervisory role.

• Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.

• Confident decision-maker with the ability to work independently.

• Competent in Microsoft Office and familiar with computer-based inventory systems.

• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
